From San Diego take the 15 freeway head north towards Temecula. Stay on
the 15 freeway
heading north toward Corona, exit Main Street turn left go under the bridge

Heading South cross over Graham Ave. The Park will be on the right. Please

report on vending at the Rte 395 Hot Rod Show in Lake Elsinore
Route 395 Hot Rod & Custom Culture Festival---- This event was held on Saturday
May 9th in Lake Elsinore City Park in sunny Southern California, a not-too-far drive
from our home base in Long Beach.
We got there at 9.30 am (while it was still cool!) to set up our booth. Getting
checked in, unloaded, and parked was a breeze-SO-CAL Hot Rod Shows and the
Velvet Vault did a great job organizing this event.
All sorts of cool vendors were in attendance, and the crowds starting showing up
early to check out the stars of the event-the cars. There was also a pin-up
contest, tiki-carving and a raffle with a surprising amount of goodies that were
generously given away by the sponsors.
The bands rocked even though they were roasting in the increasing heat of the
day. Some of the great bands that played on the stage were Ready for Vegas, who
did a smoking set of cool original upbeat rock with a punk edge, and Vicky Tafoya
and the Big Beats whose old school bluesy rock got the whole crowd going.
We had a great time vending at this event and look forward to vending there
again. Anyone looking for a cool car show with really good bands, great cars to
look at, unique vendors to shop, and a friendly vibe should attend this annual
